2005 Crozes Hermitage Cuvee Gaby

Chez J&B: Glossy and lively – lots of fruit and pure Syrah character. Very tough. Tougher than last week! Chez Genesis: Low-key nose. Round and slightly salty – very much at a surly, inexpressive stage at present with rather marked wood on the finish. May well come right but you’ll need to wait. (JR)
