Score 86/100 · Drink 1989, Robert Parker, Jan 1998
A delightfully fat, fruity, concentrated, velvety Margaux, with soft, lush berryish, plummy flavors, some spicy oak, and light tannins. Fully mature, but still capable of another 4-5 years of cellaring, this well-made, elegant wine is quite attractive. Anticipated maturity: Now-may be in decline. Last tasted, 10/89.
