Spiced apple and lemon on the nose. Tightly wound and backward, with a strong wet stone character. Gives a drier impression today than the Perrieres. Slow-building, classically dry finish saturates the palate with mineral flavors.

Citrus peel, minerals and flint on the nose. Fat and dense if a bit youthfully tight from the recent sulfiting. Like most of these 2004s, this boasts a wonderful lightness for such a fleshy wine.
