Totally oxidised nose. There’s a bit of fruit left clinging on to the palate, but this is mostly the corpse of a port. (RH)

Mid ruby. The nose is still a little unformed but there is most attractive violet lift on the nose. Not as concentrated as the Warre's Quint da Cavadinha offering from the same vintage but lots of fun with great charm. I suspect the nose will not develop into anything much more complex. GV (JR)
Minty, fragrant and delicate yet with great length and purity. Potent yet controlled. (RH)
Very closed, black fruit – morello cherry. Surprisingly open on the palate though, with focused dense fruit concentrate, and a licorice or even menthol aromatic quality. (RH)
