Sweet red and black fruit on the nose, cedary oak, but more complex than that with a pencil lead leafiness and a meaty edge. Tannins are still firm and dry but helped by the well-managed fruit. (JH)

Rich, sweet and plummy. Lots of very dry tannins on the finish. Could do with very slightly more acidity perhaps. Very creditable though. (JR)
