Tasting notes
Pale gold and almost viscous. Ripe and round with so much extract it could almost be an Auslese. Yet has so much crisp acidity and lusciousness. Golden delicious indeed. Every mouthful is like biting into the juiciest apple. Sufficient acidity to be a pleasure to drink without food yet there's enough sweetness to enjoy this with fruit-based desserts. Bravo! (JR)

Cool and floral on the nose. Round and broad. Racy lime cordial but quite delicate too. Very precise. (JR)
Peach and orange, classic, very pronounced nose. On the palate there is such a concentration of flavours that at first Spätlese does not seem to be the right category. Enter perfect measures of zesty citrus fruit and lemony acidity and you are back on course. Lively and fresh like a mountain spring. Forceful, but racy and elegant nevertheless. (MS)
Very slightly mousy on the nose. Tightly wound and standard-issue safe stuff. Still quite chewy. (JR)
